YOGSCAST was created by famous gaming duo Lewis Brindley and Simon Lane who started the channel in 2008. The duo kickstarted their Youtube career by posting gameplays of World of Warcraft and basic how-to’s of the game. What earned them true fame, however, was their Minecraft series which also started off as a basic how-to series but later grew into a full fledged animated saga named ‘Shadow of Israphel’. The duo also posts gameplays, backed up with humorous commentary, of other popular games including Garry’s Mod, GTA V, etc. The official youtube page of YOGSCAST has become the home for the gaming group of the same name which now consists of 47 members. The channel has garnered over 7.2 since its creation and has been viewed over 4 billion times. YOGSCAST is also registered as an entertainment company which creates gaming related videos including podcasts, music and has multiple content creators affiliated with it.
